Link state Routing Protocol Feature:
- Use multicast to build neighbor relationship rather than broadcast
- After initial routing tables exchange, routers send small, event-based updates
LS Routing
Protocol Advantages:
- Much faster to converge
- Force you to design your network design correctly
- No routing loops issue
LS Routing
Protocol Disadvantage:
- Demand on router resources
- Technical complexity
- Requires actual network design
